Carpet tiles are a more cost efficient option due to their ease of take up and replacement. Individual tiles can be taken up and replaced in sections where the carpet is damaged or in need of repair. Carpet tiles are also modular, meaning when they are laid, there is minimal waste compared to regular broadloom carpet.
